Greenflag Community Guidelines

Last Updated: June 30, 2026

Greenflag exists to put positive signal back into dating. Your profile is built by the people who know you best, and that only works if Greenflag stays a place built on honesty, respect, and safety. These Community Guidelines apply to everyone — daters and the friends who vouch for them — and to everything you do on Greenflag: your photos, your pitch and vouches, your messages, your Public Deck, and how you treat other people on and off the app.

These Guidelines are part of our Terms of Service. Breaking them can cost you content, features, or your account. For the most serious harms — anything involving minors, credible threats, or exploitation — we act immediately and, where appropriate, involve law enforcement.

If you ever feel unsafe, trust your instincts, leave the situation, and contact local emergency services. To report something on Greenflag, use the in-app report button or email safety@trygreenflag.com.

The Greenflag spirit

1. Be real — authenticity

2. Be respectful — harassment and hate

We have zero tolerance for:

3. Keep it consensual — sexual content and misconduct

4. Protect minors — absolute rule

5. No violence, exploitation, or illegal activity

6. No commercial use, spam, or scams

7. Respect privacy

8. Care, not punishment — self-harm and crisis

If someone shares that they're struggling, lead with compassion. We don't punish people for being in crisis. Content that promotes or glorifies self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders isn't allowed, but our goal is to connect people with support resources, not to penalize them. If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services and report it to us.

9. How we enforce these Guidelines

How we find issues. We use a combination of member reports, automated detection, and human Trust & Safety review. Every conversation has a one-tap report flow, and you can report a profile or Public Deck at any time.

Use these tools in good faith. Report honestly — don't file false or bad-faith reports, and don't report someone just because of their race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or another protected characteristic. If you're banned, don't come back under a new account or someone else's. And please treat our support and safety team the way you'd treat anyone else here — with respect.

What we do. Depending on the severity and history, we may:

Immediate bans. The most serious violations — anything involving minors, CSAM, credible threats of violence, sexual exploitation, organized harassment, or serious fraud — result in immediate removal and a ban, with reports to authorities where required.

Appeals. If you believe we got it wrong, you can appeal by emailing safety@trygreenflag.com within 6 months of the action. We'll re-review and, if we made a mistake, restore your content or account.

10. A note for friends and vouchers

When you build a pitch or leave a vouch, you're putting your name behind someone. Be honest and kind. Don't write anything you wouldn't say to that person's face or in front of the person they might match with. The trust you lend is exactly what makes Greenflag work — please don't spend it on anyone who won't treat people well.
